iOS 18.1 will Reportedly Have Apple Intelligence on October 28th
Apple plans to release iOS 18.1 on October 28th, featuring initial Apple Intelligence capabilities. This release is slightly delayed from the expected mid-October timeframe, as Apple works to address bugs and ensure its private cloud servers can handle the update’s demand. With iOS 18.1, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 users will gain access to new features, including Writing Tools, an updated Siri UI, Notification Summaries, and advanced memory and photo cleanup tools.
More significant Apple Intelligence features will roll out in future updates: iOS 18.2 in December will introduce ChatGPT support, Genmoji, and Image Playground, while early 2025 updates (iOS 18.3 or 18.4) will include a new Siri experience. The full suite of Apple Intelligence features is expected to be available by the launch of the iPhone SE 4, providing a gradual rollout of enhancements over the coming months.
