iOS 18 Will Show How Long It Will Take to Charge iPhone
iOS 18 introduces several new features to iPhones, with more coming in iOS 18.2. Highlights include Genmoji, Image Playgrounds, a revamped Mail app, and improvements in Apple Intelligence, such as Visual Intelligence for iPhone 16 models and ChatGPT integration.
A noteworthy feature found in iOS 18.2 beta is a “BatteryIntelligence” framework, which will estimate and notify users of the time needed to recharge the phone, though it’s still in development and currently disabled. Additionally, iOS 18 includes new battery health options, letting users limit maximum charging levels to extend battery lifespan.
iOS 18.2 is expected to launch publicly in December.
