Solar-Powered Tiny Van To Be Sold Soon in US

Japanese automaker HW ELECTRO plans to bring its kei van, the PUZZLE, to the US market. The small electric van, designed with a flat, angular shape, features onboard AC outlets, USB ports, Wi-Fi connectivity, and emergency tools. It emphasizes disaster resilience with roof-mounted solar panels for power during outages.

The PUZZLE is a two-seater primarily aimed at commercial applications but could serve as a compact van-life platform. HW ELECTRO, known for the ELEMO series in Japan, targets commercial sales in the US starting in 2025. The vehicle’s full tech specs and price are yet to be disclosed.
