Tattoo Artists Begin To Fear AI Designs
Artificial intelligence is increasingly impacting the tattoo industry, as some artists use AI software to create design mock-ups, a task traditionally handled by the artist’s creativity. Tattoo artist Ziggy Tramdaks believes AI will eventually dominate the industry. However, some tattoo artists, like Matt Doherty, see it as “cheating,” comparing it to athletes using steroids.
AI-driven design tools, like specialized programs for tattoos, allow even non-tech-savvy individuals to create impressive designs quickly. While some clients are fine with AI-generated tattoos, others feel a personal, human touch is necessary. There are also concerns about unrealistic expectations, as AI designs may not always translate well into tattoos.
