Trump’s ‘Unhackable’ Phone Brought To Light
Dan O’Dowd, founder of Green Hills Software, has equipped Donald Trump with an “unhackable” communications tool, claiming that his Integrity-178B operating system, also used by the FBI and US military, is the most secure. However, experts like Bruce Schneier are skeptical, as no OS can be truly unhackable. O’Dowd’s system, with only 10,000 lines of code, has earned high security certifications and is praised for its simplicity and security focus.
O’Dowd is also critical of Tesla’s self-driving software, calling it unsafe. Through his Dawn Project, he campaigns against Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology, highlighting flaws and advocating for its removal from the market. Despite owning Tesla vehicles himself, he argues that FSD’s shortcomings have led to fatalities and sees Waymo as a superior alternative. His anti-Tesla stance even led to a Senate campaign in 2022 focused on making autonomous vehicles safer.
