Apple introduces the new MacBook Air with the powerful M3 chip, offering up to 60% faster performance than the M1 chip and up to 13x faster than Intel-based models. With improved Neural Engine capabilities, it remains the top consumer laptop for AI tasks. The MacBook Air features a sleek design, up to 18 hours of battery life, stunning Liquid Retina display, and support for two external displays. It comes in four colors: midnight, starlight, space gray, and silver. The M3 chip, built with 3-nanometer technology, boasts an 8-core CPU, up to 10-core GPU, and up to 24GB of unified memory.
It enhances various tasks, including gaming, photo editing, and video rendering, offering significant speed improvements over previous models. The MacBook Air also supports Wi-Fi 6E, MagSafe charging, and Thunderbolt ports. With macOS Sonoma, users can enjoy enhanced productivity and better integration with iPhone and other Apple devices. The new MacBook Air starts at $1,099 for the 13-inch model and $1,299 for the 15-inch model, available in multiple colors. Customers can order starting March 4, with availability beginning March 8.
