1. EdjAnalytics
Founded: 2013
“EdjAnalytics provides “edge” to companies and people in competitive markets. We do this by solving very complex problems in unique and creative ways that allow us to look at each question as if it is a game to be won or lost. Each game is structured so that the outcome is optimized for the users’ unique requirements. This approach has been helpful to clients as diverse as professional football teams, commodity traders and corporate executives. We believe that this method can be used for scores of other applications, and we’re in the process of building our business to meet those needs.
As people who have never been accused of being trendy, we like to emphasize that many of our models were built before anyone heard of Big Data. However, much of our success is built on our ability to accurately and objectively comb through large piles of bits and bytes.”
2. Red e App
Founded: 2011
“Red e App is the other side of the enterprise productivity coin. One side of the coin is Box, Salesforce, Office365, Yammer, and Slack that were designed for the needs of a knowledge-based, @company.com email carrying workforce.
Red e App, however, is a mobile workflow communication and file distribution platform architected specifically for the more than 2.1 billion non-desk and hourly workers who do not have access to @company.com email.”

4. NetLaw
Founded: 2012
“NetLaw believes everyone should have access to complete the basic estate planning documents. Our mission is to educate and help navigate difficult decisions with ease. At least 70 percent of Americans do not have basic end of life documents in place. Waiting to determine critical decisions while under duress can cause a lack of clarification and understanding. Having this discussion with family members has value, but doesn’t provide assurance. That’s where NetLaw can help.
NetLaw utilizes a streamlined, award-winning process to provide services that are secure, convenient and affordable. With NetLaw, consumers can prepare their basic estate planning documents in about 20 minutes (Will, Power of Attorney, Healthcare Surrogate, etc.). The solution, recognized as one of the best by the American Bar Association, creates valid documents for all states. The service intelligently and safely stores your information, making document updates possible in only a few clicks. NetLaw partners with financial services firms, healthcare organizations, and philanthropic groups to encourage individuals to take charge of their personal finances and planned giving.”
5. RM Innovation
Founded: 2009
“Everything we do, we do because we believe in challenging the increasing dominance of big box stores and large online retailers. We feel strongly that small and mid-sized stores should be given back their market share and that to succeed they should be armed with not the same, but the best technology to effectively compete.
Founded by a fifth generation Oriental rug dealer, RM Innovation started by gathering collective knowledge – talking to retailers, distributors, and manufacturers in the USA and around the world. We took all that collective knowledge, wisdom, and information and used it to develop revolutionary software specifically designed for the high-ticket, unique item industry to make the best of the best accessible to everyone in the business.”
6. Collabra
Founded: 2012
“Collabra helps students and instructors get more out of their music lessons by providing tools to reinforce the lesson, capture progress, and create accountability – all in one system, and all in one place.
Using computers or mobile devices, instructors and students create, store, organize, and share audio / video content for lessons, practices, and assessments.
Instructors record in-person lessons with student(s), or create a pre-recorded series of instructional videos to share later. Students watch the lesson back from their phone or computer, and then record themselves practicing. Student practice minutes are automatically logged and reviewable by the instructor, providing a unique tool for accountability.
Instructors and students exchange time-stamped comments on audio / video recordings of lessons and practices. This enables instructors to review and correct student practice habits, as well as stay connected during the week or when distance creates a barrier.”
